This is one of the big questions, and is still argued until today. Canonical URLs – what’s the best choice – with or without www?
It’s important to choose between the two – because if interchangeably used – your link juice will be split. There is no issue whatever you choose – as modern browsers has autoredirect features. But you need to be consistent. If you choose the one without www – use if all through out your links. If you use the one with www, never forget to include www when putting on your link.
Without www is hip, because it saves you from typing the three letters. Save time and effort.
But auto complete forms has www. Common people understoods websites to start with www. Www is an old tradition. So I stick with it.
WWW wins!
